- Pets are not native.
- A pet’s presence at the Preserve disrupts the behavior and health of existing native wildlife.
- A pet should never be left in a vehicle for an extended period of time, especially in the summer heat.
- A vehicle left with the engine running is a fire hazard for the wilderness area. Please do not leave your car running to keep pets cool.

- Correll Trail at Oatland
- Frederica Park (contains a dog park.)
