As coastal Georgia faces ongoing drought conditions, we ask that visitors to Land Trust properties take extra precautions. Please do NOT leave your car idling and do NOT smoke while on site. Thank you!
The Land Trust’s Volunteer Appreciation Reception, held during National Volunteer Week, was a truly special evening dedicated to celebrating the incredible individuals who give so much of their time and energy to our mission. Set in the backyard of the Land Trust office beneath its stunning live oaks, the event offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere where volunteers could gather, share stories, laugh together, and enjoy a light dinner.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of our Top Volunteer awards and the announcement of our Volunteer of the Year—well-deserved recognitions for the outstanding commitment and impact these individuals have made. The joy and camaraderie shared throughout the night were a testament to the strength of our volunteer community.
We are so grateful to have had the opportunity to host this event in honor of those who do so much for the Land Trust. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening so memorable, and a heartfelt thank you to all Land Trust volunteers—your dedication truly makes a difference.
