25TH ANNIVERSARY OYSTER ROAST

The St. Simons Land Trust’s annual fundraiser has for 25 years been considered THE most popular community event in the Golden Isles with live music, delicious food, and preferred beverages provided by restaurants and partners from across Glynn County.

On January 25, 2025, the Land Trust will host its 25th Anniversary Oyster Roast under the beautiful live oaks at Gascoigne Bluff Park from 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Get ready to enjoy mouth-watering coastal cuisine (including oysters, of course) from numerous local restaurants, invigorating live music all evening along, preferred beverages, and more!

Members: $95

Non-Members: $125

Tickets will go on sale online for Land Trust on Monday, January 6. Tickets for the general public will go on sale online on Tuesday, January 7.

COASTAL CUISINE

Enjoy favorite dishes from some of the most popular restaurants in the Golden Isles. In addition to oysters from Charlie Williams and Sea Island Forge, there will be low country boil from Woodside along with local barbecue, soups and chowders, desserts, and more. At the 2024 event, offerings included creamy mushroom and shrimp risotto from Sal’s Neighborhood Pizzeria, Sapelo clam pizza from Schroeder’s Market, shrimp and grits from Wolf Island Oyster Co., country-fried chicken bites from Sea Island, and other specialty items from the chefs at Del Sur Artisan Eats, Dorothy’s Cocktail & Oyster Bar, Georgia Sea Grill Collective, Southern Soul Barbeque, and many more!

LIVE MUSIC

In 2025, the Oyster Roast will for the first time feature multiple musical talents including The Gowen Family Band, Michael Hulett, Elli Perry & Andrew Sovine, Owen Plant, and others.

All proceeds from the Oyster Roast help to manage and maintain the nearly 1,400 acres in our trust and help to fulfill our mission of preserving and protecting the natural and scenic character of St. Simons for present and future generations.
