Guale Preserve Boat Launch Rules and Reminders

To best enjoy your outing please consider…

• Boat trailer parking reservations are required
• Launching and retrieval are permitted only during Preserve open hours, 7:00 am-5:00 pm
• No fishing from the catwalk or upland
• No fish cleaning
• No alcohol permitted on site.
• Plan accordingly for your time on the water:
  • Bring water, sunscreen, a hat, shoes, and a life vest
  • Notify friends or family of boat plans
• Hazards include but are not limited to:
  • Tides and currents are extreme and change 6-9 feet every six hours
  • Rapidly changing weather conditions
  • Biting insects
  • Boat traffic
  • American alligators
  • Sharp oysters
